If you want to save the planet, don't use blackle. It actually uses more power on an LCD monitor than does google. Please see the video where we tested it with a watt meter:

Skype is fading into the past, you've always been able to make similar calls over MSN to other computers.

They do offer cheap international rates if you want to call an actual phone but why be stuck to a headset making calls when you can use your mobile or any other phone to access VOIP connections without having to be anywhere near an internet connection or computer yourself?? Purchasing a Skype handset is hardly the answer, pockets are too full of mobile phones and iPods! :)

When my hubby and I went for a tour in Paris, we didn't notice that the MRT's entrance barriers were wide open (it was nearly midnight) and we bought the tickets at the machine for nothing.

How foolish we felt after a hard time of figuring how to get the tickets and finally got it and then found out that we didn't even have to go through all that troubles, including paying for them.

hehe 90 mins of football would be too long if it involved Preston and Cardiff. Arsenal and Chelsea would be better! Fights galore (well handbags really) and some slick passing (in places)!

but I can't talk being a palace fan! 4-1! You're a lucky sod! I went to Ninian over the Christmas hols, got rained on and what for!?! To spend 90 mins watching an 'exciting' 0-0 draw between Crystal Palace and Cardiff!! Try that for a fun afternoon out......

.... i'd have killed for 5 goals (even at the wrong end!!).

Don't do it! I got the football bug after screaming my head off at a game aged seven. Now, 23-and-a-bit years later, I find my head crammed with footie-related trivia, and more useful stuff struggling to get a look in. Hence I'm attempting to download it all onto my blog; then I might finally get round to reading War and Peace and taking up Italian.

If you must go, enjoy the game!

Yeah a girl in our office was reading 'You are what you eat' and apparently according to the backcover Gillian's 'degree' was on the Philosophy of Food Nutrition. Now my friend is doing a PHD in Philosophy and as far as I can gather it is all to do with arguing and be able to BullS**t so logically it means Gillian's 'degree' is enabling her to BullS**t about food nutrition. it all makes sense now. Sadly its scary to see how much people trust someone just because they've a tv show!

Absolutely.

Intriguingly, one of the major things the Walton (Walmart) family has spent their money on is a large underground fortress (think James Bond Baddie), capable of withstanding a large scale nuclear attack. So, in the event of armageddon, at least they'll survive. Money well spent, there!

I can recomend egg pizza. Think it would be better with sausage, bacon, tomato and hash browns. Maybe a few beens and BBQ sauce for good measure.
